In this Disney flick, Emperor Kuzko (the voice of David Spade) decides to celebrate his eighteenth birthday by building a palace on a mountain where a peasant named Pacha (John Goodman) lives. While on the mountain, Kuzco's former advisor Yzma (Eartha Kitt) poisons him, and turns him into a llama. Kuzko then persuades Pacha to join forces with him, and help him return to his throne. In exchange, the emperor will not take away Pacha's mountain as originally planned. The movie is light-hearted, but employs the values of friendship, selflessness and repentance. The sing along soundtrack is also typical of most Walt Disney films. | |
