"The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, 'We have found the Messiah' (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus". John 1:41+42
In July 1995, while attending The University of Texas at Arlington, Brian Neumann studied the Bible with the campus ministry and became a disciple! Little did he know the impact this one decision was going to make on his family. Just like Andrew, the first thing Brian did was share his faith with his twin brother Jason, who was attending Texas State Technical College in Waco.
Jason was studying the Bible with the brothers in Texas when he received a job offer in California to work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Brian refused to give up on his brother and he continued to challenge and encourage Jason to study the Bible with the disciples in California. Jason's heart was transformed by God’s word and in September 1998, after three years of persevering, Brian heard of his brother's baptism! Jason is now an administrator for the Stockton Sector of the San Francisco Church.
David, Brian and Jason's older brother, was next in line! After Brian shared his convictions and life with him, David humbly asked his brother to show him what to do to be right with God. David was baptized last October and is now a disciple in the Dallas/Fort Worth Church. He serves as an assistant administrator under Brian.
The Neumann brothers are a great encouragement to the many disciples all over the world who are reaching out to their own families with the Gospel. | | |
